Lupita Nyong'o and Gwendoline Christie join Star Wars: Episode VII Cast

Looks like there’s no way but up for Lupita Nyong’o, after she won her Oscar for 12 Years a Slave. And we really mean “up”, in a galaxy far, far away!

Yesterday Lupita posted on Instagram this oh so teasing revelation, suggesting that she will be a part of Star Wars: Episode VII.

Lucasfilm did confirm that she will be a part of the next Star Wars instalment, although we don’t have a clear idea yet about what her character will be. Rumours however, suggest that she may be a Sith.

Gwendoline Christie, AKA Brienne of Tarth in Game of Thrones (which left me devastated last night by the way) would also be joining Lupita in the next Star Wars movie. Again, no idea what she will be, but she’ll be great as a badass bounty hunter if you ask me.

Star Wars: Episode VII will be released on UK by December 2015.
