K-Style Craving: Bite into BonChon’s Korean-Style Chicken
I’m sure
you’ll agree with me when I say that most Pinoys love chicken dishes. Proof of
this is the wide variety of recipes that Filipinos were able come up with, just
so we can have several ways to enjoy manok
– there’s tinola, adobong manok, chicken inasal, the list goes on! We even eat
chicken feet and call it adidas, and grill chicken intestines so we can have
the sinfully tasty isaw!
Our local
cuisine is already rich in chicken-based recipes that you’d be proud to serve
to your foreign friends. However, chicken has so much potential and there’s a
lot that we can do other than the usual fried chicken that we’re used to.
Sometimes, it’s refreshing to bite into a new beat don’t you think?
One of the fast-food restaurants I know which has mastered the art of preparing unique tasting yet distinctly delicious chicken, is BonChon. From its original home in South Korea, it has now become a well-loved global phenomenon, and has brought to the Philippines the unique flavors of K-Style chicken that are distinctly Korean yet familiar and enjoyable to the Pinoy palate.
These flavors
that I’m talking about are Soy Garlic, Hot & Spicy, Honey Citrus, and
Crunchy Garlic. What I loved about BonChon's flavors is that they are tasty
enough for the sauces to be just an option, unlike in other restaurants where
having a gravy is necessary for you to enjoy your meal. The Soy Garlic is
definitely a must-try if you wish to have a taste of BonChon's perfect fusion
of Korean and American flavours. Yum!
If you’re a regular BonChon diner like me, you’ll probably
notice that it takes them a bit more time to prepare your meal. This is because
every order is freshly prepared in the kitchen to make sure that you get that
perfect, deliciously non-greasy chicken you deserve. Trust me, it’s worth the
wait.
To know which BonChon branch is nearest to you when you
suddenly have that K-Style craving, Like BonChon on Facebook, and
follow them on Twitter and Instagram.
How about you, what’s your favorite chicken dish?
Sarap!
