Watch: Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children Trailer

There’s a new world coming for Tim Burton fans – the first official trailer of Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children is already out, and it’s an odd mix of magical, creepy, and yes, peculiar.

  

Based on Ransom Riggs’ book, Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, the film will be about Jake’s (Asa Butterfield) discover of an orphanage for children with special abilities. Turns out that Jake is special too, as he is the one destined to protect the home from an impending danger.

I don’t know if it’s just me but doesn’t the trailer make the premise feel like a Harry Potter – X-Men hybrid?
